The South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce – Education Foundation is pleased to announce its sponsorship of college scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors that are residents of South San Francisco.
Awards DetailsThe South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, (EIN:85-2930060) 501(c)(3), supports the enhancement of education and educational programs, offering and managing scholarship programs for “qualified students” seeking university, college, or vocational advancement. Determinations as to which students shall be “qualified” for any such scholarship program are to be made in the discretion of the Board of Directors and officers of the South San Francisco Education Foundation.
Because of the generosity of our local business sponsors, deserving high school students in our community can apply for a scholarship to support their higher learning. Your tax-deductible donation provides hope and encourages local students to return to their roots and work where they once grew up. We can show that the business community and you stand behind our youth and that we really care.
The scholarships are awarded to high school seniors that are residents of South San Francisco and will be seeking university, college, or vocational advancement. There is an extensive application process for each of the applicants to complete. Last year, 30 students were fortunate enough to be granted a scholarship, thanks to sponsors like yourself.
